Less than 2 weeks ago there was a snow pile at the side of my house that reached the base of the second story, at least 18′.  After 24 hours rain, there is almost no snow left. I am not sure if there is much reality to the global warming, but the weather is strange.  I’ve often thought about writing a story where the characters are always thrown into problems because of unusual weather.

 Rain posses its own problems. We’ve camped out in the office for two days. Our favorite pastime is watching movies and eating popcorn. I’ve often thought that if we build a movie room then it would include an antique style popcorn maker. It would be a fun addition to the room, and give us all the popcorn we could eat.

I love spring. I look forward to seeing the flowers in a few weeks. Until then, we will continue to camp out and wait until the sun returns.
