I use to run a big house cleaning company in the city. I enjoyed it. At the peak we had three teams and cleaned high-end homes. It was challenging, but we did very well until the economy fell through and most of the big businesses moved to a larger city.

I didn’t know what to do next. There were not a lot of opportunities in our area. I think I fell into the life of a writer. I use to enjoy writing for fun. I never thought abut getting apid to write, or being published. I just wanted to write. I sometimes wrote just because I needed to tell stories.

When the house cleaning buisness closes I was devestated. We had a good living - then within 3 months it was gone. I started to write and get into writing groups because I had so much time on my hand.

I started writing for pay to cover some bills. I guess my writing career just grew from there.

I learned a lot about people while running the house cleaning business. It was great research before starting a writing career.
